Function
Vitamin B3, or nicotinamide , is an amide compound of nicotinic acid(vitamin B3), which can be converted into NAD+ or NADP+ in the body and plays a role in transferring hydrogen ions and electrons in many redox reactions in the body. It is mainly used to prevent and treat pellagra combined with stomatitis, glossitis, sick sinus syndrome, atrioventricular conduction block and other problems. Nicotinamide is a water-soluble vitamin and a member of the vitamin B family.
